TOMMY GATE

In 1965, Delbert 'Bus' Brown designed and built the first Tommy Lift hydraulic lift-gate in his machine shop in Woodbine, Iowa. Named after his son, the Tommy Lift original hydraulic lift-gate was designed to help move heavy loads into and out of pickup trucks.

Still in Woodbine after 40 years, Tommy Gate Company has a newly-expanded 150,000 square foot factory with a state-of-the-art production system that manufactures today's finest lift-gates.

Models include:

• Ute Series

  Tommy Gate's Ute Series lift-gates are specifically designed to fit today's popular models of full-size work utes (models are available for small utes also).

  

• Lift-N-Dump Series

  For applications that require both a dump-through tail gate and a lift-gate, the Lift N Dump lift-gate models offer the opportunity to have both in one package.

  

• Service Body Series

  Tommy Gate's Service Body Series lift-gates are specifically designed to fit in with custom built service bodies.

  

• Van Series

  Cargo Vans are also used as work trucks. Tommy Gate have produced several options for Van mounted lift gates and their new Cantilever series is unique.

  

• Flatbed & Stake Body Series

  All of Tommy Gate's Flatbed and Stake body Series lift-gates feature application-specific features and enough options to help you put together the perfect lift-gate package for your needs.

  

• Rail Gate Series

  For medium duty applications on flatbed, box van and stake bodies. Tommy Gate's Rail Gate series offer a range of different platforms, models and configurations. From Tread-plate Steel to Aluminium platforms and Gas Bottle Racks
